My Beer Notes

Join me on my beer journey! Or just get a quick second opinion on a new beer. Either way, cheers!

Category: Abbey & Trappist

This is my favourite type of beer! Trappist beers are actually brewed by monks inside their monastery. They’ve been doing this for hundreds of years and there are only 11 Trappist monasteries in the world.

Abbey and Trappist beers are usually described as blonde, Dubbel, Tripel or even Quadrupel!
